I wrote the hook of this song when smoke from California drifted across the country to DC in the summer of 2022. The song has been sung at many direct actions with groups like XRDC and Sunrise Movement.

Good Enough for Government Work
This just-for-fun birthday band of friends turned into a gigging cover band that plays a wide variety of certified bangers with everything from ABBA to Black Sabbath. Our original line up includes myself (keytar, trumpet, vocals) and Jyoti (vocals, flute). Backed by Kirk on drums, David on lead guitar, and Justin on bass, this band is dedicated to having a riot playing a list of songs that'll make you and your friends smile.
