Home Studio: Policies

Lessons at in my home studio will be booked on a monthly basis. Each 30 min lesson costs $40.

• One absence per month is allowed. 

• During summer months (June-Aug), students may put a hold on their lesson time for $20/lesson if they need to miss more than one lesson per month for travel. 

• The following days will be considered holidays, where no lesson fee or hold will be charged:

  • • The Wednesday before Thanksgiving

    • The week between Christmas and New Year’s

    • Federal  holidays as listed by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management

• If I am absent for personal travel, students and parents will be notified at least one month in advance and no lesson or hold fee will be charged.

Absence policy: Due to my only teaching in the neighborhood one day per week, make-ups for missed lessons cannot be guaranteed. 

All students will be invited to a showcase and party in the spring!

For payment, I prefer check made out to “Melting Virgo," though I can also accept Venmo or CashApp with a 5% fee.
